Orange Bavarian Cream

1/2 cup sugar
1 3 oz pkg orange gelatin
1 tsp orange zest
1 cup orange juice
2/3 cup water
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1. In mixing bowl, stir sugar into orange flavored gelatin. In saucepan, combine orange zest, orange juice and water. Bring to a boil, add gelatin mixture and stir until gelatin is dissolved. Chill mixture until partially set, with the consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. In large mixing bowl, beat partially set gelatin until foamy and fold in whipped cream. Pour mixture into eight 1/2 cup molds or four 1-cup molds. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Unmold on serving plates. Serves: 4 to 8.
