Chocolate Chip Scones

These breakfast favorites are a delicious treat for breakfast or a snack, and are easy to make!
Ingredients
1 tsp white wine vinegar
1/3 cup milk
1 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar (+2 Tbsp)
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
 
Directions
1. Place 1 tsp vinegar into 1/3 cup measuring cup and add milk to cup's top.
2. Place butter and sugar in a bowl and cream until combined.  Should be pale and fluffy.
3. Add eggs, mixing in each separately.
4. Mix in vinegar and milk mixture until combined.
5. Add flour and baking powder - mix until combined.

6. Mix in chocolate chips until distributed.
7. Preheat oven to 350.  Scoop 1/3 cup of batter out at a time and place on cooking sheet 2 inches apart.
8. Refridgerate for 15 minutes - then bake for 15 minutes.

9. Decrease oven temperature to 325 and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.

Makes 12 scones.
