Yamazette (Yum-A-Setta)

This is an Amish recipe given to me by a friend. Ground beef is sweetened with a little brown sugar and tomato soup; then topped with a layer of gooey cheese, and egg noodles mixed with cream of chicken soup.
2 pounds hamburger
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup onion
1 can tomato soup, undiluted
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 (16 oz) package egg noodles
1 (8 oz) package processed cheese
1. Brown hamburger with salt, pepper, brown sugar and onion. Add tomato soup.
2. Cook egg noddles; drain. Add cream of chicken soup.
3. Spread half of the hamburger mixture in the bottom of a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish, top with half the noodle mixture, followed by half the cheese. Repeat the layers, ending with cheese on top. Bake at 350-degrees F for 30 minutes.
