Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup milk
soft brown sugar, to serve
extra milk, to serve
cream to serve
 
Directions
1. Mix the oats with 3/4 cup cold water in a small heavy-based pan
2. Stir in the milk and bring to the boil
3. Cook the oats for about 7 minutes, stirring constantly until thick and creamy
4. Serve immediately with brown sugar, cream and extra milk
