Indian black tea with milk and spices
Ingredients
1/2 tspn loose black tea, or 1 teabag
1/4 tspn tea masala
1 1/3 cup water
2/3 cup milk, canned
1 Tbs sugar, white
 
Directions
1. Heat water & masala till almost boiling, stirring occasionally with whisk
2. Turn down heat to medium-low and add tea, brew 3-5 minutes, depending on desired strength
3. Remove teabag if you used teabag, and increase heat to medium
4. Add sugar and stir with whisk
5. Add milk and stir continuously until almost boiling
6. Strain if you used loose tea, and serve

There are many ways to make chai.  The easiest of course, is just all premade from the store.  The next step, would be using teabags with the masala already in them. 

If you have a milk steamer, you can also steam the milk, which makes it nice and foamy, although less traditional.
