Darvot Fritters

Nelix cooked these sweet Janeway favorites shortly after he first joined the crew.  Darvots are fat buttery tulips grown on Nerada. They bloom in the moonlight and their shoots are extremely poinsonous - the Neradians tip their torpedo heads with a paste made from darvot shoots and uranium.  The flower, however, is a rich, dense doughy joy.   To make the fritter batter, you mash them with Ubean oat milk and add fuchsia foam crickets - crickets that dance on the waves that break on the shores of Seyrel, a tacky Sakari resort city.
1 can corn, canned, drained
1 can creamed corn
2 eggs
6 Tbs flour, all-purpose
1/2 tspn baking powder
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash salt
Butter for cooking
1. Heat skillet over medium heat
2. In a blender, blend corn & creamed corn slightly to break down kernels a bit, but do not entirely puree
3. In a bowl, mix all ingredients except butter
4. Add about 2 Tbs butter to skillet and spread around the skillet
5. Using a 1/4 cup measure or a spoon, pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet, and spread out slightly into a circle about 3" in diameter. 
6. Repeat until skillet is full, leaving space between each fritter
7. Cook until edges look somewhat dry, and bottom is golden, a few minutes, then flip.
8. Cook until other side is golden, and remove to plate.
9. Repeat until all batter is cooked.  Serve.
