Guacamole Dip

The classic Mexican dip...make sure that your avocados are ripe !!  Serve with tortilla chips,,,
3 ripe avocados
1/2 red onion or white onion
3-4 roma tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
1/2 Tbsp lemon/lime juice
6 Tbsp sour cream
3 Tbsp chopped cilantro
1. Cut avocados lengthwise and remove pit.
2. Using a butter knife, score the avocado in a criss-cross pattern in the peel (this will prevent having to dice when removed from peel).
3. Scoop out avocado flesh in medium-sized mixing bowl.
4. Finely chop onion, tomato and garlic, and stir into avocado with cilantro and sour cream.
5. Add lemon juice and garlic salt, if desired, and stir until combined.
6. Place cling wrap directly on the surface of guacamole (to prevent discoloring) and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to let flavors blend.
