Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

A very moist, delicious bread - the crushed pineapple lends a tropical flavor....delicious with cream cheese spread, too .
Ingredients
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups oil
2 cups mashed bananas
1 8-oz crushed pineapple, drained
2 tsp vanilla
 
Directions
1. Combine dry ingredients; stir in nuts and set aside.  Combine remaining ingredients; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.  Spoon batter into two 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans sprayed with Pam.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until done.  Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans.  Remove to wire racks and cool completely.
 
Notes:
Makes:  2 loaves

If desired, cut and spread with softened cream cheese and place back together to serve.
