My daughter Emily calls this easy soup "lasagna-in-a-cup" !! An easy throw - together soup if you pre-cook your ground beef like I do and store in the freezer for shortened prep time...
1. Brown ground beef in dutchoven or stockpot; drain.
2. Add onions, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Stir in beef broth, water, brown sugar and four spices listed. Bring to a boil and add mini lasagna noodles or pasta.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Garnish each bowl with Mozzarella cheese.
