Polish Kluski Noodle Casserole

The combination of sausage, mushrooms, kraut and onions with sturdy noodles makes a great casserole dish for those cool autumn nights.
Ingredients
4 cups sliced (quartered) mushrooms
1-1/2 lbs Polish sausage
2 cans sauerkraut
1 pkg Kluski noodles
2 sticks butter, divided (melted)
1 large onion, chopped
 
Directions
1. Cook Polish sausage - slice. 
2. Brown onion in 1 stick of butter.
3. Cook Kluski noodles - drain noodles and sauerkraut.
4. Mix all together, adding one more stick of melted butter.
5. Stir in mushrooms, cover, and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or until heated through.
