Sugar and Spice Pecans

One handful is not enough of these crunchy nuts - you'll be back for more !!
1/4 cup LAND O LAKES butter
3 cups pecan halves
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1. In a 10-inch skillet melt butter; stir in pecans and 1/2 cup sugar.  Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar melts and pecans brown, 8 to 12 minutes.  Meanwhile, in large bowl combine all remaining ingredients.  Stir in caramelized pecans.  Spread on wax paper; cool completely.  Break clusters into individual pecans.  Store in tightly covered container.
Makes 3 cups.
