Yeast Coffee Cake

My Grandma Polodna's coffee-cake recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup milk, scalded
1 stick butter/margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 pkg dry yeast
1/2 tsp sugar
3 egg yolks
3 cups flour
Cherry or Blueberry pie filling
Topping
1 stick margarine, melted
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
 
Directions
1. Mix yeast and 1/2 tsp sugar, let rise to top of cup.  Add to milk mixture, add 3 egg yolks and beat well.  Add 3 cups flour and beat well again.  Place in 9 x 13" pan and refrigerate overnight. 
2. Next morning, place pie filling over dough in pan. 
3. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over top. 
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
