Seaweed Nut Crunch

Ingredients
1/3 cup corn oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup sesame seeds
6 sheets nori
1 tsp shoyu, or to taste
 
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Pour corn oil and maple syrup in a large skillet.
3. Bring to a frothy boil and add sliced almonds, stir, and add sesame seeds and nori pieces.
4. Sprinkle in shoyu.
5. Continue stirring until everything is coated.
6. Pour into one layer on a baking sheet.
7. Bake for 10 min.
8. Let cool and enjoy.
