Dump Cake
I love the name of this simple dessert! Its hilarious! My mom makes this for different occasions and everyone always ask her how she did it! If only they knew just how simple it really is!
Ingredients:
1 jar sweetened applesauce
1 can crushed pineapple
1 jar maraschino cherries, drained
1 package dry yellow cake mix
1 cup margarine, melted
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Grease a 9x13 pan well.
2. Dump applesauce in pan.
3. Spread cake mix over pineapple.
4. Pour melted margarine on top of cake mix.
5. Dump maraschino cherries on top of that.
6. Sprinkle nuts over that.
7. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
8. Top with whipped cream if desired.

What sizes of applesauce, pineapple, and cherries? I believe I have eaten this at a potluck, but I didn't get the recipe. My kids would like making this.
