Flowerpot Cakes

Martha Stewart, literally cakes baked in terracotta pots.
Ingredients:
6 2 3/4" tall & across terracotta pots
1/3 c vegetable oil
3/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 c sugar
3/4 t baking powder
3/4 t salt
1 lg egg + 1 lg egg yolk
3/4 c buttermilk
3/4 t vanilla extract
* Quick chocolate frosting
*1/2 c crushed chocoate wafers
multi-colored chocolate candies
mint sprigs
Directions:
1. Brush inside of pots with oil and line with parchment or foil. Brush lining with oil and lightly dust with extra cocoa.

2. Sift cocoa, flour, sugar, baking soda and baking powder and salt into mixing bowl. Add egg & yolk, 3/4 c warm water, buttermilk, oil, vanilla; mix low for 3 mins.
3. Pour batter in pots 2/3 full. Place pots on rimmed baking sheet. Bake rotating sheet half way through. Cool completely on sheet on wire rack.
Notes:
Bake @ 350, 20-30  mins.
