Spiced Pecans

Sweet, lightly salted pecans with an extra zing of Mexican hot sauce.
Ingredients:
1 tsp olive oil
2 cups pecan halves
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
4 tsp Mexican hot sauce (e.g. Cholula)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Brush olive oil on a baking sheet.
3. Toss the pecan halves, sugar, butter, hot sauce, salt, and pepper together in a medium bowl and spread evenly into one layer on baking sheet.
4. Bake, stirring once, until lightly toasted - about 20 minutes.
5. Cool and serve.
Notes:
Makes 2 cups.
