Minted Greek Wine

Mint adds a zing to Greek white wine.
Ingredients:
2 bottles of dry Greek white wine
mint syrup (see recipe below)
mint sprigs for garnish

Mint Syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
20 fresh mint leaves
Directions:
1. Combine 4 parts wine and 1 part mint syrup in a glass over ice, then garnish with a mint sprig. Domaine Spiropoulos Mantina Moschofilero is a light, crisp wine with hints of honeysuckle and subtle hints of minerality.
2. Mint Syrup: Place all ingredients in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
3. Microwave on high for two minutes.
4. Stir until the sugar is dissolved; let cool.
5. Strain into a small pitcher and refrigerate until ready to use.
