1. Slice bananas lengthwise and the crosswise.
2. Melt butter in a 10 inch skillet. Add brown sugar and stir until bubbling. Place bananas in single layer in skillet and cook over medium-low heat until slightly softened.
3. Turn and cook a few more minutes.
4. Sprinkle with nutmeg and add banana liquer. Remove from heat.
5. Warm run over low heat in small saucepan. Pour rum over bananas and ignite with match. When flame burms out, pour over ice cream.
