Creamy Brushetta Spread

My sister works as a special events coordinator.  At one of the country concerts she organized, I think it was Colin Raye, her caterer fell through.  My daughter and I threw some meat/cheese and fruit trays together along with a plate of this spread.  The trays of other food were eaten but still in the hospitality room after the concert.  The plate of spread went to the bus with the band.

Ingredients:
8 oz. cream cheese
2 T. finely chopped fresh basil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 medium tomato, chopped
1/2 c. chopped cucumbers
1 small onion, chopped
4 large black olives, sliced
2 T. Italian dressing
Directions:
1. Mix cream cheese, basil and garlic until well blended.  Spread into 7-8 inch circle on serving plate, with center slightly indented to form rim around outer edge.  Set aside.
2. Combine tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olives and dressing.  Spoon into center of cream cheese mixture.
3. Serve with your favorite crackers or on baquettes.
Notes:
I have also added 2 T. cilantro for a different taste.
