This is a wonderfully refreshing drink in the summertime. You can turn it into a low carb drink by using Splenda.
Ingredients:
2-1/2 qt. water
1-1/2 c. sugar or Splenda
1 T. lemon extract
1 T. citric acid
Crushed ice
Lemons and limes for garnish
Directions:
1. Stir together until sugar is dissolved.
2. If making large quantities for a punch bowl, make a batch to freeze in a bundt pan for an ice ring. Then the large quantities of ice won't water it down.
