Virginia's Pie Crust

This is a delicious crust for pies, straight from the expert:  my great-aunt Virginia!
Ingredients:
3 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 C Crisco
10-12 T cold water
Directions:
1. Sift flour and salt.  Add the shortening, mixing with pastry blender.  Blend until it resembles oatmeal.
2. Add the water, 1 T at a time.  Mix with large fork, handling as little as possible.
3. Form into a roll, cut in 4 sections (making 4 9-inch crusts).  Roll out the crusts, place in pie pan, crimp the edges, and place in freezer.
