Nan's Hot Mushroom Dip

Virginia's sister-in-law's party dip, full of flavor.
Ingredients:
4 slices bacon
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
1 onion (chopped)
1 clove garlic (minced)
2 T flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
8 oz cream cheese
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 C sour cream
Directions:
1. Fry bacon until crisp, then crumble.  Drain the pan, reserving 2 T drippings.
2. Saute mushrooms, onion, and garlic until tender and most liquid has evaporate (aprx. 6-8 minutes).
3. Add flour, salt, and pepper to mushroom mixture.  Add cream cheese, Worcestershire, and soy sauce.
4. Reduce heat to low, stirring until cheese melts.  Remove from heat, stirring in sour cream and bacon.  Serve warm with crackers.
Notes:
If made early in the day, reheat at 250* for 1 hour.

May add 1 T sherry for extra flavor.
