Hoisin Marinated Pork Tenderloin (OAMC)

  • Currently 4/5
One of my favorite pork dishes, this recipe is also great as a stir-fries. Simply slice the pork tenderloin and stir-fry with your favorite Asian-veggie mix then pour the sauce into the pork/veggie mix and heat through. So make two of these when packaging your monthly meals!
1 pound pork tenderloin
1/8 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup hoisin sauce
1/8 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1. Packaging Instructions
2. Do not open pork tenderloin.  Set aside.
3. In a gallon-size ziploc baggie, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, cayenne pepper, and garlic.
4. Insert pork tenderloin and sauce bag into a gallon-size ziploc freezer bag and seal.  With a sharpie marker, label the outside of the bag "Hoisin Marinated Pork Tenderloin".
5. Place in freezer.
6. Cooking Instructions
7. Thaw completely in refrigerator.
8. Remove tenderloin from packaging and trim as needed.
9. Pour half of marinade into a small sauce pan and heat over low heat.
10. Place tenderloin in bag with remaining marinade and return to refrigerator for 30 minutes or longer.
11. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
12. Place pork on foil sheet and wrap foil around tenderloin.  Place on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until desired doneness.
13. Cut into thin slices and serve with sauce drizzled over sliced pork.
14. Makes 3 servings.  This recipe can be doubled for 6 servings.
15. Serving suggestions: Brown or white rice and a steamed snow peas.
For best results in quality and packaging, expel as much air from the baggies as possible.
