Maple Salmon

Salmon is so easy to prepare, then when you add this sweet, tangy glaze it's over-the-top good!
Ingredients
2 each salmon fillets
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
sesame seeds
 
Directions
1.

Mix the maple syrup and soy sauce in a zip top baggie.  Add the salmon fillets and marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Remove from refrigerator, set salmon fillets aside on platter and pour marinade into a saucepan and reduce over medium-low heat until you're left with about half the original volume (about 10 minutes).

Broil the fillets in a lightly oiled pan for about five minutes, skin side up.

Flip the fillets over and brush the flesh side liberally with the reduced marinade.

5.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over top and broil for another 4 minutes or until the surface is caramelized and the salmon is no longer translucent in the center.

6. Serves 2.
