8 (1/2 inch) slices Italian bread
1/2 cup refrigerated pesto
1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and thinly sliced
1 (7 oz.) jar roasted red peppers, drained and cut into strips
1 lb. sliced deli turkey, cut into bite-size strips
8 (1 oz.) slices Provolone or Muenster Cheese, cut into strips
1 tablespoon sliced fresh basil leaves
1. Heat oven to 400°F.  Spread one side of each bread slice with pesto; top with artichokes, red peppers and turkey.  Place sandwiches on large baking sheet.  Cover sandwiches loosely with aluminum foil.
2. Bake for 10 minutes.  Uncover; top with cheese and basil.  Continue baking for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese begins to melt.
3. Serves 8
