Country Style BBQ Pork Ribs

My mother's recipe from the 40's - also considered Northern BBQ sauce
2 T. Bacon grease
2 small cloves garlic, crushed
3 T. Onion, chopped
1 bottle Heinz Chile Sauce
1/2 C. Ketchup
12 oz. water
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 T. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Dry Mustard
1 T. Worchestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
6 lbs country style pork ribs
1. Brown garlic in bacon grease.  Add onion, brown.  Add other ingredients, bring to boil.  Simmer sauce 1-1/2 hour

bake country style ribs in oven at 450 degrees for 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and bake till browned.  Drain grease. Pour BBQ sauce over and bake another 30 minutes.
