Stuffed Mushrooms

A great appetizer...quick and easy and always a favorite!
Ingredients
1 Package Cream Cheese
1 Package Sausage (ground)
1 Medium Onion
1 Bunch Green Onions
1 Tablespoon Paprika
1 Package Large Mushrooms, whole
Paprika
 
Directions
1. Brown Sausage.
2. Soften Cream Cheese.
3. Dice Onion & Green Onions.
4. Mix ingredients (cream cheese, onions, sausage and spices)
5. Wash mushrooms and remove stems.
6. Spoon mixture into mushroom tops.
7. Let sit in refrigerator to firm.  (Best if overnight)
8. Sprinkle with paprika
 
Notes:
Variations:
I like to use spicy sausage and add black pepper for a kick.
Lighter version you can use low-fat cream cheese and turkey sausage.
