Creamy Braised Pork Chops

  • Currently 4/5
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1-1/4 lbs boneless, thin pork chops
4 tbsps butter (divided - 2 + 2)
1 cup heavy cream
1. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper until well combined.  Sprinkle over both sides of the pork chops until evenly coated.
2. Melt 2 tbsps butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the pork chops until golden brown on both sides, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
3. Add the heavy cream and remaining 2 tbsps butter to the pan, turning the heat down to low and cover with a tight-fitting lid.
4. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes more, until the pork is done all the way through (no longer pink in the middle).
5. Remove the lid and let the sauce thicken for another minute and serve.
Serves 4.
