I am going to try vending food at a local Earth Day festival on Sunday. My theme is simple, healthy, affordable family snacks. Hummus/pita/veggies, pretzels and cheese, apples and bananas, pasta salad, vegetarian wraps, deli pickles. And a little sugar - rice crispy treats, maybe banana bread slices. My teens are helping. If it goes well, I might get a state vending license and look for more festivals and music events.
