PB Krispy Bars

These ROCK - prepare to eat your next favorite rice krispy treat.  And vegan, too.  Good for the potluck or picnic table.

1 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6-8 cups crispy rice cereal
1. Spray a 9x pan with vegetable oil.  Cook corn syrup and brown sugar until it reaches a boil, stirring frequently. Turn off the heat and stir in 1 cup of peanut butter. Stir in 6-8 cups of rice cereal.  More cereal is harder to stir, but makes more stuff. Turn it into the oiled pan. Put a sheet of waxed paper on top, and press the mixture firmly into the pan. Let it cool, turn the block out onto a cutting board, and cut into squares.
I get 32 squares.  Cut it 4x4 for 16, then cut each in half.  Store in an airtight container.
