Pizza Sauce #2

28-oz can tomatoes, any style
6-oz can  tomato paste
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 Tbl dried oregano
1 tsp sea salt
2 Tbl sugar
2 Tablespoons Red Cooking Wine (optional)
Directions
1. I like to give myself flexibility, so I want to be able to use whatever kind of tomatoes I have on hand - whole, peeled, diced, puree, etc.  My kids like smooth sauce, so I dump the can in the food processor and puree it (unless it is already puree.  Then I pour out half the puree into a sauce pan (to make room in the processor).  Put in all the other ingredients into the processor and whiz it around a bit.  Then pour that into the pan, too.  Cook it on low heat for about an hour, uncovered, stirring occasionally.  It will get thick.
