Chocolate Chip Cookies with melted butter

Ingredients
2 cups plus 2 TBSP flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
1 cup plus 2 TBSP brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 TBSP vanilla
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup toasted nuts
 
Directions
1. whisk flour, baking soda, and set aside
2. melt butter over medium heat, remove from heat and add both sugars-whisking until combined

3. transfer to mixing bowl and let cool to room temperature
4. add eggs and vanilla to butter mixture.
5. fold in flour mixture, then chips and nuts
6. refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes
7. bake at 325 for 12-14 min
