Oatmeal Cookies

I like them large & chewy!
Ingredients
1 cup Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3 cups Oats
1 cup Chocolate or Butterscotch chips
 
Directions
1. Cream together the butter & sugars. Add eggs & vanilla,beat well. Add flour, soda, salt & cinnamon. Gently stir in oats & chips. using a tablespoon for uniformity, form into balls.


2. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, on a greased baking sheet.
 
Notes:
I like to freeze the dough into round balls, then bake directly from freezer. The texture of the baked cookie is great this way!
