Eunice : thanks for the adds! it was fun translating from Spanish to English. the words are so elegant, like "agregar el azúcar en forma de lluvia" "add the sugar in the form of rain". but my Spanish is very poor so perhaps lluvia has more than one meaning that i'm unaware of.

Flo M: actually yes! "agregar el azúcar en forma de lluvia" it's something like "pour the sugar" but like soft rain, it's hard to find the exact words, you probably have a more accurate phrase for that! thanks so much for translating my recipes :)

Eunice : soft rain...yes, that is quite beautiful. we use "sprinkle", as in "to sprinkle sugar on top". sprinkle also means a soft rain; how similar the imageries! i had to check out your recipes when you mentioned other sweet things. i love sweet things.
