Pumpkin Spice Doughnut Holes- Food Network

1-3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
vegetable oil for frying
For sugar coating
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1. Whisk flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder and salt.
2. Separately, whisk egg, butter, milk and sugar, then stir in the flour mixture.
3. Deep-fry small scoops in 350 degree vegetable oil, turning, until golden, 3 to 4 minutes; transfer to a rack to drain.
4. For the topping, mix the sugar and pumpkin pie spice together. Roll the fried doughnut holes in the sugar mixture while warm.
