Electric Bread for Kids
1 cup water
3 cups white bread flour
2 tablespoons dry milk
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon fast rise yeast (add 1/2 tsp. if using active dry yeast)
1/2 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cinnamon
Optional Fillings
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 can white icing
1. Roll dough into a 12-inch by 18-inch rectangle on lightly floured work surface.  Spread soft butter over the top of the dough with pastry brush or small spatula.
2. Sprinkle sugar on top of butter, then shake on the cinnamon.  Add raisins and nuts if you wish.
3. Tightly roll dough from the bottom to the top.  Wet edge and pinch firmly to seal filling inside.
4. Cut dough roll into twelve equal slices.  Be careful to not squish the log while cutting,
5. Lay the rolls cut-side up into the lightly greased pan.  Cover and let rise until double in size, about one hour.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.  While cinnamon rolls are cooling, spoon icing into icing bag or plastic bag with a hole cut in the corner for distribution.
7. Squeeze icing onto cinnamon rolls.
