Ingredients
3 cup water
1 cup celery, diced
1/2 cup onions
1/4 cup pepper
4 medium potatoes
1 cup carrots, diced
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cup milk
2 cup ham, cubed
1 pound sharp cheddar cheese
 
Directions
1. Bring water to a boil. Add vegetables and cook until done.
2. Meanwhile, melt butter and add flour. Blend and add milk. Cook over low heat and boil 1 minute. Add sharp cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
3. Add cubed ham. Stir in vegetables and water mixture. Heat through. Better if made one day ahead and reheated on low.
