apple-cranberry crisp

Ingredients
1 16-oz can whole cranberry sauce
2 T. cornstarch
5 c. peeled, thinly sliced apples
1 1/2 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnimon
1/3 c. butter-flavored Crisco, melted
1 T. water
 
Directions
1. combine cranberry sauce and cornstarch in large saucepan
2. mix well
3. heat over medium-high heat, stirring accasionly, 2 minutes or untill sauce bubbles
4. add apples and toss the coat evenly
5. spread in 8-inch glass spuare glass dish
6. in seperate bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour and cinimon.
7. stir in melted crisco and water
8. mix untill crumbly
9. crumble topping over fruit mixture
10. bake at 375'  for 25-35 minutes
